This was an historic event for Wilmington...we are joining the political arena of NC, and it's about time. Tucked into a coastal corner of the state, long under-represented in Raleigh, and profiled as a favorite beach resort for tarheels, events and movements like this are moving Wilmington forward. The state is taking notice of our growing influence, right here in the old port city.
