Someone please answer.. Ben? A politician? Anybody?
Why are all politicians lying scumbags? Are they born this way or is it something that just brings it out once they are involved? Seriously why are they all scum? Watch them on TV, watch them in meetings, look at them if you're ever unfortunate to see them out in public. Even most criminals have some morals and standards but not this select group of trash. I think most people in general Rep. or Dem. will agree with me that they are the most disliked group on the planet at this time. The only ones that remotely likes this trash are maybe their families and the other ones just like them.
So as I hear the constant jibberish daily, hear them blab on the local talk shows and anywhere else they can get attention I often wonder what the answer really is in life.
Is it a disease? Where they starved attention as a child? Did daddy lock them in a closet as a child and make them do bad things?
If anyone has an answer I would love to hear it, oh and please don't raffle off names of the ones you love to ass kiss and tell me they are different. I have yet to see ANY that are different.

Alot of it is the type of scum that politics attracts; some of it is that politics corrupts otherwise good people; and the rest is that most people who vote are f***ing stupid.

yes but is it not funny they are 99% scum? Look at other professions.
Are most truck drivers scum? hair dressers? carpenters, engineers, ets. I do not know any other profession like this and the only thing that comes close is lawyers. You really get a double bonus of scum when the politician is a lawyer. Oh I do agree most people that vote are stupid, then again most people in general are stupid now a days.

I think Ben hit it on the nail. The difference between "truckdrivers" and politicians, is that politicians have power to affect lives whereas other professions do not. It is the system that is corrupt. Good people, with good intentions get caught up in it and turn corrupt themselves.
Remember that old adage? "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"
Well, here is another one we need to enforce and it is from the Declaration of independance.
"That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness"
We need to get rid of all 535 politicians and start over! And then make it mandatory that in order to vote, you have to have a stake in it like owning property. That would eliminate all the couch potatoes and Ophra fans. It seems to me, that was the way we did it which i believe changed around the mid 1800.s

Earl no offense but I have to disagree with some of what you said. I really don't think they were ever good to begin with. They just found themselves with politics. Its kinda like putting a bag of money in a room full of people and then turning the lights out. The theives that always thought that way will do their best to grab the money. Would you think of grabbing it? Would I? No we would not. So blame the money or blame the people? I think being a scumbag and politician go hand in hand. Do you really think they know what the public really thinks of them and how much they are hated? I'm being very mild with my comments as to what I hear out and about on what people really would like to see.
I would love to see all 535 on a cruise ship and Pirates take it over and rob every one of them before they threw them over for sharks to eat. Honestly if that happened I bet more would laugh their asses off than feel bad.
